Every Apple Watch user knows how easy it is to give their smartwatches a new look. They only have to change their watch bands to the ones that suit their style, personality, or outfit of the day.
You will find a variety of Apple Watch bands in the market. You can purchase straps made from materials like silicone, leather, nylon, metal, and fabric. You can also come across bands that are easy to adjust or slip on and off your wrist. There are even some that are hypoallergenic.
However, if you want a simple watch band that is comfortable to wear, you might consider getting the Solo Loop band. What makes the Apple Solo Loop an incredible watch band? The Apple Solo Loop is a simple watch band with no clasps, buckles, or overlapping parts. Apple created this strap from liquid silicone rubber. It comes with a unique, stretchable design, making it easy to slip on and off your wrist.
Apple treated its Solo Loop band with UV to give it a silky, smooth finish. And since it is swim-proof and sweatproof, you can wear this watch strap anywhere. You will also notice a slightly indented well on the back. It helps the Solo Loop feel even thinner. Several Apple Watch users find this watch strap as one the most secure Apple Watch bands. You see, since it has no clasp, the Solo Loop band will not catch on something and have it open up and fall off of your wrist.
It is also perfect for people who wear their Apple Watches while swimming. That is because the Solo Loop band will not come off without you noticing it. Moreover, the Solo Loop is easy to clean. You only need to wipe and dry the band with a non-abrasive, lint-free cloth. The Apple Solo Loop comes in 19 different colors:
- English Lavender
- Marigold
- Dark Cherry
- Clover
- Chalk Pink
- Abyss Blue
- Starlight
- Cantaloupe
- Deep Navy
- Pistachio
- White
- Tomales Blue
- Black
How To Choose the Correct Apple Solo Loop Band Size?
While the Apple Solo Loop is a simple watch band, it is also the most complicated. That is because you have to pick a specific size for your preferred Apple Solo Loop band. This watch strap comes in nine sizes. If you want to determine the correct band size for you, the following methods might help you:
According to Apple, the fastest and easiest way to find your band size is through its printable tool. You can find it when you shop for a Solo Loop on Amazon's website. To use Apple's printable tool, you have to follow these steps:
- First, select the Start your band measurement option, which you find under Band Size.
- Next, click Download the printable tool.
- Set the page to print at 100 percent and not scale to fit.
- After that, print the printable tool.
- Next, place a credit card in the sizing area on the printed page. Make sure that you printed it at the correct size.
- Then, take a pair of scissors and carefully cut out the wrist sizing tool.
- Place the case shape on your wrist where you usually have the watch face. Then, wrap the printed paper tool tightly around your wrist. You can use tape to hole the wide part of the printed tool in place. Make sure that it feels snug and does not slide around.
- The number the arrows in the tool point to is your band size. However, if they point to a line, you should choose the smaller one.
If you do not have a printer available to print Apple's tool, you can use a household measuring tape instead. The following are the steps on how to use a tape measure to get the band size of your Solo Loop:
- First, tightly wrap the tape measure around where you usually wear your watch. Make sure it is not loose yet remains comfortable.
- Next, take note of the measurement.
- After that, go to the order page for the Solo Loop band.
- Select the Start your band measurement option, which you can see under Band Size.
- Then, tap the Household objects tab in the size guide window.
- Click Got it. What's next?.
- After that, enter your measurement in inches and fractions of an inch or centimeters.
- Next, tap the Get our band size option.
- When the band size options appear, you should select the recommended size option. Then, tap Continue.
If you cannot print out Apple's measuring tool and you do not have a tape measure, there's no need to worry. You can still get your measurement with paper and scissors, a ruler, and a pen or pencil. You only need to follow these steps to take your measurement:
- First, use the scissors to cut out a narrow strip of paper about one-half inch wide using the length of the paper.
- Next, wrap the strip of paper around your wrist. Make sure not to tighten it too much. It should feel comfortable but not loose.
- Then, use a pen or pencil to mark the point on the paper where the end of the strip overlaps the other end. You can use some tape to hold the paper in place.
- Next, lay the strip of paper on a flat surface. Use the ruler to measure the distance between the end and the part with the mark. Take note of the exact measurement.
- Go to Apple's order page for the Apple Solo Loop.
- Select the Start your band measurement option located under Band Size.
- Next, click the household objects tab in the size guide window.
- Then, tap Got it. What's next?
- After that, enter your measurement in inches and fractions of an inch or centimeters.
- Next, click the Get your band size option. When your band size options appear, you should select the recommended size. Then, tap Continue.
